KITCHEN

Our custom kitchen is perfectly situated to take in the views of Snowshoe Village while visiting with the folks in the family room.  We love the open feeling of the the kitchen and the family room. Our kitchen is stocked with everything you will need to whip up a great meals while visiting the Owl's Nest.  We have spent many hours playing cards at the kitchen table.

FAMILY ROOM

Joe and I love to spend time at the Owl's Nest with our friends and family. When we furnished the family room we had ourselves and future visitors in mind!  When it is cold outside and you have spent a long day on the slopes you will love to relax on our super comfy sofas. The room has seating for seven and there are two rocking chairs in the house to seat nine. Our 46" flat screen TV has been a big hit for guests. The TV is oriented so that you can watch while cooking or seated in the kitchen.

DOWNSTAIRS BEDROOM 1

This spacious bedroom includes two large closets to store all those extra clothes your wife brought.  There is a TV and DVD player so that you can enjoy a late night movie in private. Or you can set your children up to watch a movie or play Xbox.

DOWNSTAIRS BEDROOM 2

This bedroom has beautiful views. The comfy rocking chair is a great place to relax and read a book. The walk in closet provides lots of storage for your belongings during your stay at the Owl's Nest.

DOWNSTAIRS BATHROOM

This convenient full bathroom is located between between both bedrooms on the first floor.

LOFT AND LOFT BATHROOM

The loft is the largest bedroom in our home.  The best way to describe the loft is Views!  There are three picture windows that overlook Snowshoe Village.  The other wall has two large windows.  A full bathroom is conveniently located in the loft area too.

OUTSIDE

These pictures were taken on the 4th of July.  We really enjoy the summertime at the Owl's Nest.  There are four comfortable chairs on the deck so that you can relax and read a good book.  The temperatures are so mild in the summer you will probably need long sleeves in the evenings. We have a charcoal grill for hot dogs and hambergers.

WINTER

There is nothing better than a bunch of snow on a long weekend up at snowshoe. The large picture windows allow you to take in this winter wonderland will staying toasty inside.

SUNRISE

This was our view as we ate breakfast on Christmas morning 2005.  The sun was rising over Cupp Run and Shay's Revenge as we were enjoying our morning coffee and getting ready for a great day on the slopes.  As you can see from this picture, the hot tub is perched nicely to take in 180 degree views of the surrounding mountains.
