I just wanted to write and say thank you SO much for allowing us to
spend the weekend at your beautiful cabin! We had a great time enjoying the
fresh snow and the relaxing hot tub. It was nice after a day in the cold to
slip in and relax with a glass of wine!
 
It is in an excellent location that allowed us to escape from the crowds at the

Hey Angela,

        We all had a great time up there!  Thanks for letting us stay in
your home.  The weather was probably the best I have seen it up there.  Not
all the slopes were open, but we had a great time anyways.   You definitely
weren't joking about 4 wheel drive!  I'm really glad both of our vehicles
were 4x4.  We saw a few vehicles trying to get up to Snowshoe the first day
that were having a really hard time.  We saw one with a FL tag that I'm
pretty sure didn't make it!  I really want to go out west again next year, but
If I come to Snowshoe again I would definitely look into staying at the
Owl's Nest!

Dear Angela,

Your home is wonderful.  There was snow on the ground when we arrived...
perfect for sledding.  It snowed for several hours the second day and was sunny
and beautiful for our last.  We went on hikes, studied animal tracks, built a snowman,
and had many snowball flights.  My Texan children are now well schooled in the
subject of snow.

You are a fortunate family to have such a peaceful perfect place.  We felt lucky to
have found your Owl's Nest and hope to return someday.  The cabin was all that
we needed it to be and more.

Well, we are back to work and back to reality in Pittsburgh.  We had a great time
at Snowshoe and found your place helped to make the trip very enjoyable for all.  
We did not ski Saturday, wind was bad and it was raining.  Drove around the
resort and explored.  It snowed about 5 inches Saturday night, and cleared up
on Sunday.  Monday sunny, Monday night snowed and got cold again, Tuesday
sunny and good skiing.  Considering the weather, the skiing was really good.

Your hot tub is awesome and the view is just as you said it would be.
